The DKFZ PostDoc Network Committee is pleased to invite you to the Heidelberg PostDoc Symposium 2025, taking place on June 27th at the DKFZ Communication Center. This event is held in collaboration with the DKTK's Young Academic Conference (YAC).

This event brings together postdoctoral researchers from across the Heidelberg region to exchange ideas, share their research, and build interdisciplinary collaborations in a supportive and inspiring environment. FAQs

  • Do I need to present my research to attend?
    • While we encourage all participants to share their work for a more engaging event, presentation is not required.
  • What if I can only attend for part of the day?
    • We would ask that you prioritize this event for the full day. If this is not possible, please let us know in your registration or by email and we can determine accommodations.
  • I don't do cancer research; can I still attend?
    • Yes! We encourage postdoctoral researchers from all the natural and medical sciences to attend and participate. Interdisplinary networking and collaboration are a benefit of this event.
  • What if I am part of DKFZ or DKTK but don't live near Heidelberg? Is there a way to participate virtually?
    • We will be able to provide a virtual link, with justifcation, for the shorts talks and keynote speakers. We will not be able to share the posters.
