DESCRIPTION:\nWELCOME to the Heidelberg Postdoc Symposium 2026!\nThe DKFZ 
 PostDoc Network Committee is pleased to invite you to the Heidelberg PostD
 oc Symposium 2026\, taking place on Friday\, 10th of July at the DKFZ Comm
 unication Center. This event is held in collaboration with the DKTK's Youn
 g Academic Conference (YAC).\nThis event brings together postdoctoral rese
 archers from across the Heidelberg region to exchange ideas\, share their 
 research\, and build interdisciplinary collaborations in a supportive and 
 inspiring environment. We encourage researchers from all of the natural an
 d medical sciences to share their work with a poster or short talk.\nWe wa
 rmly encourage you to register and be part of this exciting day of science
  and networking!\n\nREGISTRATION\nRegistration is open.\n\nABSTRACT SUBMIS
 SION\nAbstracts for posters can still be submitted. Abstract submission fo
 r talks has been closed.\n\nPROGRAM\nTentative program can be found under 
 "Program" section in the upper left menu.You're welcome to spread the word
  about event to all the postdocs you know!\n\nVENUE\nDKFZ Communication Ce

  to present my research to attend?\n\nWhile we encourage all participants 
 to share their work for a more engaging event\, presentation is not requir
 ed.\n\n\nWhat if I can only attend for part of the day?\n\nWe would ask th
 at you prioritize this event for the full day. If this is not possible\, p
 lease let us know in your registration or by email and we can determine ac
 commodations.\n\n\nI don't do cancer research\; can I still attend?\n\nYes
 ! We encourage postdoctoral researchers from all the natural and medical s
 ciences to attend and participate. Interdisplinary networking and collabor
 ation are a benefit of this event.\n\n\nWhat if I want to attend\, but don
 't live near Heidelberg? Is there a way to participate virtually?\n\nWe st
 rongly encourage participation in person\, but we will be able to provide 
 a virtual link\, with justifcation\, for the shorts talks and keynote spea
