Advancing Medicine with FAIR Principles

Join us for a virtual lecture by Dr. med. Christian Niklas, a clinical anaesthetist and postdoctoral researcher in medical informatics at Heidelberg University Hospital. With a rich background in electrophysiology and computational physiology, Mr. Niklas will discuss how the FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability) can improve clinical IT infrastructure, supporting the Virtual Human Twin (VHT) in medicine. The talk will highlight data integration challenges, semantic and syntactic interoperability, and the advancement of personalized medicine through sustainable IT infrastructure.
