Join us for the Invasive Plant Removal Drive
When: 19th October 2024, 10:15 am - 2:30 pm
Where: You can choose to hike to the meeting point with a group from the Kreuzgrundweg bus stop at 10:15 am or to meet us at the Kreuzgrundhütte at 11:00 am. If you will be driving to the Kreuzgrundhütte please indicate so in the registration form so that you can be given permission to drive through the forest.
Description: We will be clearing the invasive pokeweed together with the Landscape and Forestry Office of the City of Heidelberg. Once the area has been cleared of pokeweed it will be replanted with ecologically beneficial trees in the spring.
What to bring along: Hiking boots or similar footwear, work pants, and gloves.
What will be provided: Tools, snacks, and drinks.
