Welcome to the registration page for the Science Meets Industry Day
We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Science Meets Industry Day, taking place on October 7, 2025, in Heidelberg. This event is co-organized by the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), and the Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (vfa), and provides a unique opportunity for networking between academic researchers and industry representatives.
The focus of the event is to promote exchange between academia and industry, expecially regarding the further development of promising translational research projects. Therefore, the program will feature pitches of selected advanced projects from DKFZ and DKTK, highlighting potential for collaboration, co-development, and knowledge sharing between science and industry.
Participation is open to members of the vfa, DKFZ, DKTK and the NCT communities. Please note that due to space limitations at the venue, registration will be moderated.

The Science Meets Industry Day will take place on October 7, 2025, at the BDC Meeting Space in Heidelberg (Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Ring 5, 69124 Heidelberg, Germany). The meeting will be held in person.

Please note that registration is required due to limited capacity. Priority will be given to participants from vfa, DKFZ and DKTK. The registration deadline is August 31, 2025. Confirmation emails will be sent out after registration closes.
🏨 Accommodation
Participants are kindly asked to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. To assist you with planning your stay, we have listed a small selection of hotels located within walking distance of the event venue (BDC Meeting Space, Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Ring 5, 69124 Heidelberg):

🍽️ Networking Dinner (Tentative)
We are planning to organize a networking dinner for registered participants on the evening before the event - October 6, 2025, at 18:30 CEST. This would provide a valuable opportunity for informal exchange among attendees. Final details, including confirmation of the dinner and its location, will be shared with all registered participants closer to the date.
