Stefan Gaillard, Co-founder and Chair of the
Journal of Trial & Error

Stefan Gaillard specializes in failure, uncertainty, and erroneous claims – both in science and society. He currently works on a special issue on scientific failure in the health domain.

Rajiv Vaid Basaiawmoit, Entrepreneurship Educator, Aarhus University

Rajiv leads Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University. An award-winning educator and interdisciplinary speaker, he specializes in teaching entrepreneurship to non-business students and integrating it into the sciences. He created the board game ESHIP: Navigating Uncertainty.

With a PhD in molecular medicine and experience in academia, industry, and startups, she brings a strong focus on innovation, mentoring, and diversity in science and entrepreneurship.

Barbara Janssens, Head of Career Service, DKFZ

Barbara is Careers Advisor and Manager since 2011. She is from Belgium and holds a PhD in molecular and cell biology from Ghent University. After a postdoc in Paris she worked for five years as an Editor at Wiley-Blackwell.

Marion Gürth, Deputy Head of Career Service, DKFZ

Marion is Project Coordinator since 2013 and Careers Advisor since 2016. She studied Biology in Darmstadt and Heidelberg and was working at the institute of pathology in Heidelberg and as a freelancer before.
