DKFZ & Alumni Reception: Iberian Penisula

The objective is to bring Alumni back to the DKFZ to network with current researchers, at the same time celebrate the cultural diversity of the DKFZ community.
PROGRAM
4.30 - 6.00pm Engaging Cultural Program in the Auditorium
- A journey through Spain & Portugal with stories & traditions,
- A lively panel discussion with Iberian DKFZ Alumni reflecting on international career journeys
- Flamenco dance with traditional costume and guitarist
- Portuguese Folklore group performance with live music and the chance to join in later!
6- 8pm Reception in the Foyer
- Reception with Iberian delights: tasty tapas, wine tasting, music, and networking! (Bring 5€ for the winetasting).

It has long been a DKFZ Alumni tradition to host an annual reception focusing on a specific region for current and former DKFZ employees. Since 2014, we have already focused on India, China, Latin America, Italy, Turkey and Egypt. This year’s Alumni Iberian Peninsula Reception is being organised with the support of DKFZ colleagues from Spain and Portugal.
