We are pleased to announce this year’s DKFZ/NCT/DKTK HARPOON (HArmonization of Reporting in PrecisiOn ONcology) conference on new developments in precision oncology in Heidelberg, hosted by the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT), and the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK):

Registration opens July 1st

Please note:

Only a limited number of spots is available. We therefore recommend registering as early as possible to secure your place.

Date: November 5 + 6, 2026

Site: Heidelberg Congress Center, Czernyring 20, 69115 Heidelberg

Registration fee: 85 € (includes participation at all sessions & catering on both days, as well as reception on Thursday evening)

Scholarships: This year, DKFZ/NCT/DKTK HARPOON offers up to 10 competitive scholarships (covering registration fee, travel expenses and accommodation, max. 500 €). Please submit your application via the registration process.

Target audience: Everyone involved in multiomics-guided precision oncology and molecular tumor boards (bioinformaticians, data scientists, molecular biologists, pathologists, clinicians, clinical / medical trialists, patient advocates)

Content: The conference is intended to provide a platform for exchange and networking and to foster interaction between the One NCT, DKTK, and other networks. We expect highlight talks on precision oncology activities, including recent developments in multiomics data analysis (e.g., by artificial intelligence) as well as forward and reverse translation, underlining the central role of multidimensional tumor characterization as fuel for innovative clinical trials and scientific discovery in Germany and beyond.

As the program continues to evolve in response to current developments, it does not only feature cutting-edge research hightlights, but also includes several special elements, such as a presentation from patients involved in applied cancer research.

Please note that this year, participants will have the opportunity to upload materials (e.g., contact details, posters, presentations) and share the link as a QR code at the symposium. This will enable a virtual showroom and provide more space for discussions for essentially all participants. Further details will be shared right after the registration deadline (early October 2026).
