Since we have received several questions and comments regarding the limited number of direct long-distance flights to Cologne, we would like to offer some guidance. Most long-distance flights arrive directly at Frankfurt International Airport without a stopover. Therefore, we recommend taking a train from Frankfurt Airport to Cologne as an alternative. The train connections are excellent, and the journey is very convenient.

Many airlines also offer the Rail&Fly - Option. Please check with your airline to see if train tickets are included with your flight.
Frankfurt Fernbahnhof is also known as Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof (Frankfurt Airport Long-Distance Train Station) and is located at Terminal 1, in The Squaire building.
The train station is located inside the airport at Frankfurt Airport Fernbahnhof (long-distance train station). You do not need to leave the airport to reach the station.
How to get from Frankfurt Airport to Frankfurt Fernbahnhof:
· If you arrive at Terminal 1, follow the signs for the "Fernbahnhof" (Long-Distance Train Station). It is connected to the terminal via a pedestrian bridge and moving walkways. The walk takes about 5-10 minutes.
· If you arrive at Terminal 2, take the SkyLine train (a free shuttle service)or a shuttle bus to Terminal 1 and follow the signs to the Fernbahnhof.
Alternative Transport: If you have heavy luggage or need assistance, airport shuttles and taxis are available to take you directly to the station.

· Meeting – Day 1: July 8th from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
· Meeting – Day 2: July 9th from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
A lunch will be offered on July 9th at 1:00 PM for those who wish to attend.
