About

The German Cancer Research Congress (GCRC) /(Deutscher Krebsforschungskongress, DKFK) is a joint event of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the German Cancer Aid (Deutsche Krebshilfe) and the German Cancer Society (DKG), together with the Oncology Centers of Excellence of the German Cancer Aid (CCC-Netzwerk der Onkologischen Spitzenzentren), the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT), and the Division of Experimental Cancer Research (AEK) of the DKG. 

 

The congress is a contribution to the National Decade against Cancer and aims to promote networking between various key players and stakeholders in the cancer research landscape in Germany, and to feature selected highlights and cutting-edge science from basic via preclinical to translational cancer research. Moreover, the German Prize for Cancer Prevention Research is awarded the third time.

 

We are pleased to announce that the German Cancer Research Congress will be held for the fourth time in 2025:

This congress will cover a variety of 

 

TOPICS such as 

 

·       Tumormicroenvironment & metabolism

·       New developments in first line local therapies

·       Heterogeneity, plasticity & metastatasis

·       Digital Prevention, Diagnostics and Therapy

·       Tumor immunology, cellular immune therapies

 

 

In addition to the plenary sessions, we have planned interactive elements, poster exhibitions, a multi-faceted panel discussion, flash talks, and pitch talks to provide insights into the exciting field of cancer research.
